Shipping Information

Once you place your order on our website, we will begin to process it within one business day.  We aim to ship your lovely items within 1-2 business days after your order is placed, as long as the order is in stock (we will contact you as soon as possible if it’s not!).  Any order that is placed on a weekend or public holiday within Victoria, will be processed the following business day.  

 

During busy periods such as Easter, Christmas and during our sales periods, please allow an addition 1-2 days for your order to be packed up and shipped on its way as there is only one person behind this computer packaging all of your beautiful orders up. 

 

We will notify you by email or phone if we are aware of any delays that are expected.

 

While we want to let you know EXACTLY how long it will take for your beautiful package to get to you, it’s just not possible for us to guarantee delivery times or delivery dates as we don’t personally deliver your items (we rely on the lovely services of Australia Post).

 

If you are concerned/worried about how long your package is taking, please do not hesitate to contact us.  We will try our best to get you all the information you need and provide tracking with all parcels to help minimise any issues experienced.

 

We like to keep you in the know about what is happening with your order, so expect an email from us notifying you that your parcel is on its way, along with its tracking number (in case you want to keep a close eye on it).

 

Shipping within Australia

Flat rate of $10.00* - standard shipping within Australia only, using Australia Post with tracking

OR

Free if you spend over $150* in one transaction (after discount is applied) - standard shipping within Australia only, using Australia Post with tracking.

 

Express Post can be organised for a flat rate of $15.00 for next business day delivery*+  

 

Flate Rate + Signature on Delivery $12.95* - standard shipping within Australia only, using Australia Post.  

 

Insurance cover is provided for all parcels up to the value of $100.  If you require insurance on your delivery, please contact us for a quote and we can organise an invoice to include the cost of shipping and insurance.  

 

*unless your order is heavy (greater than 2kg) or very bulky (awkward shapes that just don’t want to squish into a box).  We are unable to offer Express Post delivery for parcels that exceed these requirements.  In this instance, we will contact you if your parcel exceeds these requirements to organise an alternative delivery option (if available) or additional charges may apply.

Shipping to New Zealand

 

Flat Rate of $20* - standard shipping using Australia Post or DHL including tracking.   

 

*unless your order is heavy (greater than 1.5kg) or very bulky (awkward shapes that just don't want to squish into a box).  If you require insurance for your parcel delivery, please contact us for a quote and we can do up an invoice for you that includes this.  

 

International Shipping

We want to share the Wild and Whimsical Things love around, so we want to offer International shipping to our customers on the other side of the world.  At the moment, we are unable to offer shipping to the USA or Canada but please feel free to contact us in case this changes and we can update you.

 

If you want to make a purchase from overseas, please send us an email with the items you are wanting to purchase from the shop and we can give you a quote for shipping to your country.  Previously we did a Flat Rate, but due to the nature of our products, the pricing was quite variable and we want to offer the best shipping price we can.

Please note that all bulky and heavy items are not eligible for International shipping.  We provide a little note on our products if they are excluded from International delivery.

 

Important:  Wild and Whimsical Things are unable to take responsibility for any additional taxes or import duties that may occur in transit and/or delivery of our packages.  Please contact your local customs (most have information available on their website), who may be able to give you more guidance on what sort of charges you may incur.

 

Pre-orders and Backorder shipping times

If you placed a pre-order or back order for a product, we are unable to give you specific shipping/delivery times as each brand varies in the time it takes to place the wholesale order and to deliver that order to Wild and Whimsical Things. 

 

We will attempt to give you an estimate, but please keep in mind that it is an estimate only (e.g. some international brands may take longer if there are any issues passing through customs, some products are handmade by other small business owners).  Please feel free though, to contact us if you want an update on your order.

 

If you placed a regular order with your pre order/back order, these items will be set aside and shipped once your pre order/back order product arrives.  If you need your regular order before that time, please purchase separately.
